African Wildlife Photography
Welcome to my world of fine art wildlife photography
- My page is all about wildlife photography and how I see the wildlife through my lens –
I am an amateur photographer from South-Africa living in Pretoria. My love for art started at a young age as my father is a professional artist and I grew up in a house full of art. My love for art however did not lie in painting and soon I realized photography is where my heart lies. My photography journey officially started in 2014 when I purchased my first DSLR camera.
Some of my favorite places I have visited is Elephant Sands, Kama Rhino Sanctuary (Botswana), Kruger National Park & Pilanesberg National Park.
“Africa has always had a certain “mesmerizing” atmosphere to it and using my photography, I like to capture an image that one can look at for hours and imagine yourself close to nature and the animals”
My style of photography includes (but not limited to) – Portraits & landscapes and turning it into fine art for printing. I prefer vivid colours and strong detail in my images as this type of style tells a story about how I felt when I captured these images.
“My dream is to become a professional photographer and doing what I love full-time and one day be recognized as a National Geographic Photographer.”
Some of my work has recently been published with WildlifeDirect (https://wildlifedirect.org/), a non-profit Wildlife conservation organization that lies close to my heart – Have a look and support them!
